When launching the Uber Visa Card, we didn't want to just create a typical credit card. We wanted to create a best in class card that was designed for riders, earning them points on the things they do so they could redeem them on the things they love. When launching a first of it’s kind card, we couldn’t just do something typical. We needed to gain attention in a crowded market, in a way that’s uniquely Uber, and pays off the cards main benefit.
Introducing the Ride & Dine bus, combining the freedom of Uber getting you where you need to be with the cards best in class reward of 4% back on dining.
Case Study
We designed the bus from the wheels up, creating a first of it’s kind restaurant on wheels. As the bus toured the country inviting our target audience to enjoy the cards benefits first hand, we also wrapped the bus to act as an experiential billboard for the credit card.
The bus toured the country, making stops in major cities and partnering with some of the world’s best chefs to celebrate the cities it arrived in.
The bus was the main activation of a larger campaign we created to launch the card. The campaign of “Earn on what you do, get to what you love” was brought to life using the brands bits and atoms, the physical cards design, and connecting the dots to tell the stories of the card’s benefits.
